2. General purposes of data processing
We process personal data only for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the website
- Processing contact and quotation enquiries
- Pre-contractual measures and contract processing
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Ensuring technical security and stability
3. Website hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data can be processed, including IP address, date and time, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, requested pages/files and other technical connection data. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate interest in secure, stable and efficient website operation. Where required, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
4. Contact form and quotation enquiries
Our website provides a contact and quotation form. The data processed may include name, company, email address, telephone number, deployment location, requested security service, desired period and the content of the message or other voluntarily provided information.
Web3Forms is not used.
Transmission and processing take place through an automated enquiry and administration system integrated directly into the website. After submission, the enquiry is transmitted to the internal backend, stored in the protected admin area for processing and an automatic confirmation can be sent to the enquiring person as well as a notification to VeroGard. The system is used for efficient processing and documentation; no exclusively automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect takes place.
The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and contract-related enquiries and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in efficient communication.
5. Cookies and consent management
The website uses cookies and comparable browser storage technologies. Technically necessary technologies are used for basic functions and secure operation. Optional categories are activated only where a suitable legal basis exists and, where required, after consent. Your choice is stored locally in the browser and can be changed at any time via the cookie settings.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or comparable analysis and tracking services are not used without the required consent. The currently implemented statistics function is an internal first-party measurement and runs only after consent to the statistics category.
6. Video surveillance in the context of our services
As part of VeroGard security services, video surveillance systems may be used or managed, for example to protect persons, property and premises, prevent offences or preserve evidence. This processing relates to the operational delivery of security services and must be distinguished from data processing when visiting this website. The legal basis and data protection responsibilities depend on the individual deployment and contractual relationship.
7. Recipients of personal data
Personal data is only disclosed where necessary and legally permitted. Possible recipients include hosting, database, IT and email providers, other processors required for technical operation, tax advisers and professional service providers, banks and payment providers, and public authorities where legally required.
8. Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. It is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds require continued storage.
9. Rights of data subjects
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)). To exercise your rights, contact us at info@verogard.de.
10. Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority depends in particular on the company’s registered office and data protection establishment.
11. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, manipulation, unauthorised access and other security risks. These measures are reviewed and adapted in line with technical developments.
12. Automated enquiry and administration system
For technical processing of contact and quotation enquiries, VeroGard uses an automated enquiry and administration system integrated directly into the website. It is used exclusively to transmit incoming enquiries securely, confirm receipt, make them available internally and process them in a traceable way.
- Transmission of form data to the internal website backend
- Automatic confirmation to the enquiring person
- Automatic notification of VeroGard about a new enquiry
- Storage in a protected admin area for internal processing and documentation
- Technical logging where required for security, troubleshooting and reliable operation
No independent external form forwarding service is used. Processing takes place within the technical infrastructure used for the website, hosting, database and email delivery. Where external hosting, IT, database or email providers are used as processors, they are engaged in accordance with data protection requirements, in particular Art. 28 GDPR. Any third-country transfers depend on the actual technical providers and must be assessed and disclosed where necessary before live operation. No solely automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
13. Current status of this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid. Last updated: 14 August 2026. Changes to the website, services used or legal requirements may require an update.
14. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect confidential transmissions, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. An encrypted connection can be recognised by “https://” in the browser address bar and, depending on the browser, the corresponding security symbol.
